Preschool 4 has been learning all about food on the farm as part of this month’s “On the Farm” theme! This week, we explored eggs, wheat, and beans in fun, hands-on ways. We made cozy “nests” for our eggs, watched some hatch into chicks, and saved others to eat! The children practiced patience and care as they used spoons to gently carry eggs around the room.

We learned where wheat comes from, how it is processed, and the many foods we can make with it.

We discovered how beans help us grow big and strong with their protein power! The class even counted with beans and fed “letter beans” to our pretend cow. Our preschoolers had so much fun exploring the foods that come from farms while learning through play and discovery!
